About Us
Our Mission
Displaced Theatre Company is dedicated to producing student-run contemporary theatre productions that center around stories, characters, and themes that reflect the diversity of identity and thought within the Dartmouth community. We are devoted to creating an abundance of accessible and quality performance and production opportunities and are committed to producing at least one show each term.
Founding Fathers
Displaced Theatre Company was founded by Tom Dugdale ‘03 and Ben Weaver ‘03 in 2001 during their Sophomore Summer.
After a period of dormancy, Displaced Theatre Company was revived in the Spring of 2022 by Kamila Boga ‘25, Annabel Everett ‘25, Eva Hymes ‘25 and Gwendolyn Roland ‘25.
How can I join?
We hold membership interviews at the start of every fall and winter term. All levels of theatrical experience are welcomed and celebrated.
